We always strive to produce bespoke, beautiful & versatile huts of premium quality. Our DIY self-build kits provide everything you need to construct your own shepherd hut from the ground up!

That said, if you’re not the hands-on type, our capable team will travel to all suitable sites throughout the UK and construct your hut from start to finish!

Every hut we make is hand-built from sustainable materials. Featuring a unique, bolt-together steel sub-frame, this modular design offers a variety of custom sizes and configurations, meaning we can build your perfect hut!

Easy Self-Assembly & Installation

Unlike other DIY shepherd huts on the market, all the major parts of a House Martin Hut are relatively small and easy to handle. This means that our huts can be built almost anywhere, stage by stage.

Even if you only have a small garden gate, a House Martin Hut can still be delivered to your garden in small pieces and built in situ. A full installation guide (including photos) is supplied with the kits and we’re always on hand to answer any questions.

Guarantees

Our shepherd hut kits include a 5-year guarantee on all parts and materials supplied. This is subject to proper installation as defined by our installation and maintenance guide (T&Cs will apply).

We also offer a 5-year parts and labour guarantee for complete hut installations.

Costs

Our self-build kits are available from as little as £9,000 ex-works +VAT. There is a wide range of sizes, window and door options to consider, but our basic starter package includes the following;
